Privacy policy
How Talleres Alpha handles personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. The Spanish version of this policy prevails.

What we process and why
- Enquiries by WhatsApp or phone. This site has no forms that send data to our own server: the contact form only prepares a message that you send from your own WhatsApp. When you message or call us, we use your name, number, vehicle details and what you tell us to reply, book you in and prepare a quote.
- Workshop customers. If you ask us to carry out a repair, we process the data needed to do the work, invoice it and meet our legal obligations.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider may log technical data (IP address, browser) for security purposes for a limited time.
Legal basis
Pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for enquiries and repairs; legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c) for invoicing; legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) for site security; consent (Art. 6.1.a) for loading the Google map.
Retention
Enquiries that don’t lead to a job are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Invoicing data is kept for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law.
Recipients
We don’t pass your data to third parties unless required by law. We use third-party services that may process data: WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) if you contact us that way, Google (map, only if you accept it) and our web host [Cloudflare / Netlify — pending]. Some may transfer data outside the EEA under GDPR safeguards.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing [email — pending] or at the workshop. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
